How is AMS complying with the Privacy Regulations?
| The privacy regulations relate to having appropriate policies and procedures within healthcare facilities in place to protect the confidentiality of and access to Protected Health Information.
| |
| AMS currently has access to Protected Health Information only through work by our technical support specialists or when we store data for our sites. We never transmit Protected Health Information to another party. We believe our software is already HIPAA compliant so that no software changes are necessary. We already have policies in place regarding access to Protected Health Information we are reviewing these policies with a view to attaining full HIPAA compliance within a reasonable timeframe before compliance is required. We are also reviewing the need of establishing formal Business Partner relationships with clients as necessary when we are provided access to Protected Health Information. |
